Manager
I enjoy all types of outdoor activities- hunting, fishing, target shooting, camping, dog training, hiking and sports- along with spending time with my family. I have been married to my amazing wife Tracy since 2007, and we are blessed with 3 wonderful boys.

NILO has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been involved there for more than 30 years. My first job at NILO was throwing targets from a hand trap back in the early 1990’s. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work my way up from the bottom to now managing NILO. My goal is to keep NILO the kind of place Mr. John Olin would approve of - one that remains dedicated to conservation and the preservation of wildlife habitat for both this generation and the generations that follow. Of course, hunting at NILO wouldn’t be the same without our world-class hunting companions ... the DOGS! The staff is great too!!

I began work at NILO in 2011 and have served as a full-time outdoor specialist since 2014. I am an avid outdoorsman. I am deeply passionate about nature, wildlife management, and the revitalization of hunting culture. I am committed to passing down a strong legacy of outdoorsmanship to the next generation through education, mentorship and example. I’m a devoted husband and father of 4. I believe faith and family are foundational and intertwined with every aspect of live, guiding both work and personal pursuits.

For as long as I can remember the outdoors have been a part of my life. I grew up hunting and fishing with my dad. As soon as I learned how to walk I was carrying around my bow. In my spare time I enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, family time, and sports. I have been working at NILO since 2010. I have always had a tremendous respect and appreciation for nature and an overwhelming passion and love for the outdoors. Working at NILO has given me the opportunity to focus that passion into becoming the best dog trainer and conservationist I can be. I have been married to my beautiful wife Jennie since 2008, and we are blessed with an amazing daughter named Julie and another baby on the way.

Dog Trainer
I am a 5 year veteran of NILO. When I am not at NILO, you can usually find me shooting sporting clays, hunting waterfowl, chasing wild turkeys, or fishing. One of the best parts of being on this great NILO staff is introducing guests to upland hunting with some of the best dogs in the world and helping our guests break a few extra clay targets.

Chris Federle
Dog Trainer
Born with a deep respect for the outdoors, Chris has built his life around faith, hard work, hunting, and the traditions of the outdoors. He has spent many years guiding big game hunters and on the water as a commercial fisherman. After learning lessons from old-timers in the duck blind, chasing turkeys, and in the mountains at elk camp, he brings his work ethic, passion, and knowledge to NILO.

Outside of NILO, Chris and his wife, Mary Beth, spend most of their time with their 4 children, Elly, Erin, Jase and Wade, who all shoot competitively and have a huge passion for the outdoors. Additionally, Chris is an active member in local conservation groups and believes in passing on the hunting and shooting traditions through coaching youth shooting teams and guiding youth hunts.
